Scope:
The aim of this symposium is to provide a forum for discussion on recent advances in the research and development of nanomaterials for drug delivery, which is an important technology for transporting a pharmaceutical compound or complex in the body as needed to safely achieve its desired therapeutic effect. Improving delivery techniques that minimize toxicity and improve efficacy offers great potential benefits to patients, and opens up new markets for pharmaceutical and drug delivery companies. The scope of C4 is focused on various aspects of the technology required for the medical application of nano-drug delivery systems, including but not limited to drug targeting and design, nanomaterials in medical theranostics, in detection and in drug delivery (e.g. peptides, proteins or nucleic acid-based drugs). This symposium offers both oral and poster presentations.
