Scope:
Optoelectronic materials are a target materials system for various key applications, and the device performance is strongly dependent on optical and electrical properties of the materials, as well as the fabrication processes. This symposium aims to join the research community working on optoelectronic materials and devices, and will provide a platform for discussion on the wide range of fabrication/characterization techniques and application possibilities. The intent is to present recent insights and future ideas for science and engineering of advanced optoelectronic materials.
Topics:
- Synthesis and growth of optoelectronic materials
- Characterizations of optoelectronic materials
- Modeling and simulation of physical properties and processing
- Applications of optoelectronic materials (such as light emission, photovoltaics, photodetectors, modern communications, photonic and electronic devices)
- Innovations in material and device fabrication
- Novel optical phenomena and applications
